Jesus Himself calls us to not just serve one another, but love one another in John 13.34-35:
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me."
Second Harvest Food Bank is dedicated to ensuring equitable access to the food and resources people in our community need to thrive. The Anchor Fellowship supports Second Harvest with quarterly food drives & regularly volunteering onsite at Second Harvest.
Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE) ensures refugees and immigrants achieve their full potential now and for generations to come. The Anchor Fellowship partners with NICE to provide job assistance, shopping help, mentoring and transportation.
Nashville Rescue Mission provides hope for today, hope for tomorrow, and hope for eternity to those who are hungry, hurting, and experiencing homelessness. The Anchor will partner with Nashville Rescue Mission through onsite volunteering and quarterly donation drives.
Women of Worth (WOW) provides transitional housing to women reentering society after incarceration. WOW supports women with recovery resources, employment and community in addition to housing. The Anchor Fellowship will partner with WOW through event support, mentoring women and other needs.
